Pig Jackets

Working together with Lomir Biomedical, SAI provides animal jackets that fulfill all the expectations today’s researchers have come to demand, down to the smallest detail. A single jacket will typically incorporate many materials, special features and fabrication methods that combine to increase comfort for the subject, as well as ease of use for the handler. SAI’s inventory of Large Animal Jackets has been designed and constructed to meet the requirements of a wide variety of subjects and activities. We work with close collaboration with investigators to develop custom jackets, specifically matched to the subject and procedure. For procedures requiring ambulatory equipment, we provide pouches in a range of materials and sizes for attachment to the jackets. Also available are anchoring patches for tethering systems and inserts for dermal procedures.

SAI provides jackets suitable for all types of swine used in biomedical research. This may be for micro, mini, Yucatan and specific farm or market weight swine. All swine jackets are made to order. Please call for further information on how to order these jackets.
