Straight Non-Coring Huber Needles



 

Huber Needles are special designed needles with a deflected point. The point eliminates the potential to 'core' a septum such as an injection cap or a vascular port. A Huber Needle must always be used to access any vascular access port in order to prolong the life and to protect the catheter from being occluded by a potential septum core. Needles are EtO exposed and available in various lengths and can be purchased individually or in multi-pack/bulk.

Tip1:

Winged infusion sets are used for the sampling or dosing of large animals that have a vascular access port. The low profile design and molded suture holes in the wings allow for easy and worry free attachment to the animal for long term dosing or sampling. Perfect for use with a Lomir jacket. Suture the wings to the animal for added securement.

Huber Needles with Luer Activated Luer Lock Valve

Huber Needles with luer Activated Luer Lock Valve are great for needleless access. After the Huber needle is placed in access port, syringe changing can be done with a close system. The syrigne operates the valve and once the syringe is removed the valve closes.
