SYSTEM OVERVIEW
Rat Ambulatory Infusion
The rat ambulatory infusion system is a low cost alternative to the tethered system. The ambulatory model is comprised of an internal osmotic pump or a larger external pump. The internal osmotic pump can hold up to 2mls, deliver at rates of 0.25 to 10ul/hr and last from 1-28 days depending upon the pump. Pumps can be changed with a minor surgery to extend the dosing period. | Teflon coated stylet slides smooth out of catheter • Reinforced tubing junction minimizes kinking at exit point from intrathecal space
