These features help extend catheter patency compared to standard externalized catheters, making them a great option for long term studies. The tether and button are secured with a magnetic connection for quick and easy connections in the operant test chamber.
Similar to the CamCath system, this skin button and tether kit features screw on connections. While they are more challenging to connect, the attachment is the most secure option available. Consider this option for studies with excessive animal activity.
