One common misconception about ordering with us is that choosing overnight shipping means that your order will ship the next day. Unfortunately, this isn't the case.

Nearly all SAI products are built to order. This is because we make thousands of different parts, and many of them are customized to be exactly what you need. So when we get your order, we start the process of building, testing, packaging and sterilizing the item. This process typically takes 7-10 days. By building products in this way, we are able to keep costs low while we continue to build exactly the product that you need.

Of course, that doesn't help if you are in a bind, so what can you do about it? There are a few options, depending on your circumstances.

• It's an emergency!- We know that emergencies happen- that's kind of the nature of lab animal work. So, if you are in a big rush, you can contact us to see about expediting the order.
• I'd like to prevent this in the future- Maybe you can't fix it for this time, but you'd like to prevent this issue in the future. We're here to help. One great way to avoid timing issues is to place a standing order. For example, if you know that you'll need 10 catheters per month, each month, then you can work with us to create a blanket order and we'll ship them to you, as needed. We're happy to discuss your needs when you reach out.
